Resolving Shoulder Trapping and Severe "Walking on Broken Glass" Foot Pain
Clinical Presentation:
Following an accidental injury, the patient suffered from severe shoulder pain restricted to 30° of flexion. Concurrently, he struggled with acute plantar fasciitis (rated 6/10), describing the pain under his foot as "walking on sharp, broken glass," making weight-bearing almost impossible.
Treatment & Outcomes:
At the conclusion of his 1st session, his shoulder pain dropped to 2/10, allowing his arm to easily raise to 90°. When asked to firmly press his previously excruciating heel trigger points, the patient was amazed to report a pain level of 0/10, walking out of the clinic with a normal stride.
